This tri-level townhome belongs to an adorable elderly retired couple. They wanted their golden years to be, well, golden.

Promoting the golden years by giving the space new life. We changed the 80’s design to modern Scandinavian.

Advocate ease in aging + more accessible. We made things easier for getting in + out, up + down. A higher bed for ease in getting out, a sofa good for aging knees, an ottoman coffee table for a place to set down a cup of tea + a place to rest sore legs.

Maximizing what they had. We made the 1st floor more usable adding an office + man-cave for TV watching.

Improving time together. We remodeled the fireplace by re-cladded it with a simple + clean square cladding using classic Carrera Marble. For impact we hung an oversized mid century British icon Twiggy photo.

Aging is not for the light hearted. We design for the young, for the kids, for the dog, for the old + weary, for comfort, for convenience, for efficiency + for the gift of life.
