Kitchens with open shelving rock, BUT are they right for me?

PROS:
○ Quick easy access to your dishes.
○ Cheaper than upper cabinets with doors.
○ You can install yourself!

CONS:
○ You lose one shelf.
○ You need to have good-looking complimentary dishes so it doesn't look cluttered.
